Staff are nice and also quick to do their work unlike other dmvs.
Also took my behind the wheel test here and would definitely recommend. The routes you can find online are pretty similar & accurate and have no real gotcha points. The examiner I had was very professional. She had black curly hair and sunglasses. Not friendly but also not a jerk like Bell gardens examiners.

Today I took my behind the wheel test. I passed!!! The examiner was very nice and was professional. She told me what I need to work on and goes it's just little mistakes. Everyone in this DMV office was so nice, friendly and helpful. For now on I'm coming to this DMV.

Today I had my DMV Behind the Wheel test. Luckily, I had an appointment and went in very quickly. Staff was very nice and making jokes while everyone was waiting in line. I Passed My Behind the Wheel test, I'm Very grateful I had a very nice driving Examiner Named Dereck. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Highly recommend this DMV: quick service, lots of parking, friendly workers, organized
I went to take my behind the wheel driving test here yesterday (I passed!) and the service was organized and the workers were nice. My instructor, I don't remember his name, but he very friendly and made me feel less nervous. He was patient, and told me what I could I improve on. It took around 15 or so minutes for the entire test. (My instructor was a tall man, and he had a red sweater on, and he is great👍).
I personally recommend going in the morning because the lines are quick and it's not crowded like other dmvs. The line to the window to check in for your driving test took awhile even though there wasn't many people, but the people were nice. The parking lot is bigger than other dmvs I've been to and I was able to find parking easily.
Also as a heads up, the roads here are bumpy and have quite a few potholes. The speed limits here are a little faster than usual streets (45 mph) and some of the streets could be a little confusing if you are not familiar with the area. Make sure to look at speed signs, because some are a little hidden.

Did a virtual learning for license renewal the previous day.Did not make an appointment but was able to get in & out in 15 minutes.
Most organized DMV facility that I have ever been to.
Efficient, knowlegeable & nice employees.

This was by far my best DMV experience. Walked in to renew my license and pay registration.
All staff I interacted with was polite and helpful. Good energy all around. I KNOW! I can’t believe I’m saying that about the DMV.
They have upgraded tech and you can pay with card.
Also this is a full location, not just a kiosk. It’s misleading on maps.

After my two visits in the Whittier DMV branch( Feb 5, July 8 2021), I have to write a review to admire this great location. It is the best role model of DMV service in term of the prepares organized operation and effectiveness.
The official open time is 8 am , This branch location staffs of more than 5 specialized already prepare for the operation at 7 am . They consult each individual of reason for the visit , give forms and required documents needed to be finish fast and even stand in line waiting for you to get the missing documents . They even provide tools to remove license plate from my car. The total visits are the fastest among all the DMV I visited . The total waiting time is less than two hours. I arrived too early , it no need to arrive that early .
The recently visit is in the morning , around 10 am and there is no waiting lines , the front desk staffs assigns me a paper , direct me to the computer application to update my drive licsense address . The waiting is short and the total process is less than 20 mins . The clerks I encountered are friendly and professional . I saved this location in my favorite lists , I will not mind to drive extra miles to do business in this DMV location .

I was really pleased with my visit here I usually dont make appts so I walked in and was suprised of how fast I got in and out. I was SO happy to get my DL back!!! Staff was so helpful and friendly too! 😉

Arrived at 9am without an appointment. I was sent to the computer room to complete an online application to select what I wanted to accomplish at the DMV. I was given a number to wait to be served. After waiting approximately 20 minutes my number was called. I verified my information was correct on the screen, took a quick eye test, paid my license fee. I was directed to the line for a new picture which only had 1 person in front of me. I was only at the DMV for 30 minutes to renew my license. Very fast and excellent customer service was provided by all employees I interacted with.

I just got my license. After failing twice on my drivers test I thought I was gonna fail again on my third time. But examiner Derick reassured me that everything’s gonna be okay and that I just need to focus and be on my game. Compared to everyone at the DMV he was the kindest and most supportive. I appreciate his help a lot.

I totally appreciated how expeditiously I was serviced. I had been told it would take hours but I was out in less than 55 minutes. Thank you for such great and professionalism. Unfortunately I did not get the woman's name she was working at window between 11:00 to 12:30 she helped me my registration and license. She did outstanding job. Excellent service she she be rewarded for her outstanding service. I am really impressed. Thank you. I appreciate her help.

Took my behind the wheel test & Derek/Derrick was my instructor. Absolute gem of a man!! and the tattooed man behind the kiosk thing that checked me in was super cool. love this
location, just make sure you make an appointment first cause there are lines
