INGREDIENTS
- 1boneless sirloin steak (1-1.5 lb.)
-½cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
- 2tbsp. orange marmalade
- adash of ground cinnamon

DIRECTIONS

1.Get your BBQ ready! The charcoals should be about medium-high heat.
2. In a bowl, mix the BBQ sauce, marmalade, and cinnamon until blended.
3. Grill steak 8 to 10 minutes on each sideor until cooked to your liking. While one side of the steak is cooking, brush the other side with the BBQ sauce mixture.


2. Crab Macaroni Salad

Macaroni salad is a stereotypical cookout appetizer for a reason -- it's delicious and so easy to make!Dad won't be crabby once he tastes this salad:

INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup elbow macaroni
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 package ofimitation crab OR 1 6 oz. can of flaked crabmeat
- 1/4 cup diced celery
- 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
- 2tbsp. chili sauce
- 1tsp. relish
-½tsp. salt
- adash of red pepper
- adash of paprika

DIRECTIONS

1.Boil a large pot of water. Cook macaroni for 8-10 minutes or until desired firmness. After cooking, rinse macaroni with cold water until chilled and drain.
2. Mix mayonnaise, crabmeat, celery, tomatoes, chili sauce, relish, and other toppings in a separate bowl. Slowly mix macaroni in.
3. Chill entire mixture in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.

    True to the name, these potatoes are #1 -- the fastestto cook, the easiest to customize with toppings of your choice, and the tastiestto eat!

    Serves:1

    INGREDIENTS

    - 1 large potato
    - 1/4 large onion, cut into 4 slices
    - 2 tbsp. butter or margarine
    - 3 tbsp. olive oil
    - a dash of salt & pepper

    DIRECTIONS
    1. Cut 4 large slits into the potato, almost through to bottom. Place onion slices in between slits.
    2. Dab the inside of the potato with butter.
    3. Drizzle olive oil over the potato and season with whatever you wish.
    4. Wrap the potato tightly in foil.
    5. Put potato(es) on BBQ rack and close the lid.
    6. Let potato(es) cook for about an hour, but keep checking them.
    7. After cooking, open the foil packages and serve!


    4. Maple Corn Bread

    The inner Canadian in Dadwill love this sweet twist on traditional corn bread.

    INGREDIENTS
    - 2 cups all-purpose flour
    - 2 cups cornmeal
    - 1.5 sticks salted butter
    - 2 tbsp. baking powder
    - 1 tsp. baking soda
    - 2 cups whole milk
    - 4 large eggs

    - 3/4 cup real maple syrup

    DIRECTIONS
    1. Preheat oven to425° F. Use butter or cooking spray to prepare a baking pan.
    2. In a medium bowl, whisk the flour, cornmeal, baking powder and baking soda.
    3. Use your hands to create a well in the center of the mixture. Add milk, eggs, 1/2 cup of the maple syrup, and½ cup of the butter. Slowly fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
    4. Pour batter into baking pan. Bake in oven about 20-25 minutes.
    5. Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, combine¼ cup of butter and ¼ cup of maple syrup. Use this mixture to brush onto the cooked cornbread.
    6. Let cornbread cool in the pan, then serve.

    5. Avocado Deviled Eggs

    INGREDIENTS
    - 3 hard boiled eggs, halved
    - 1 large avocado
    - 2 tsp. lime juice
    - 1 tsp. cilantro
    - a dash of paprika

    DIRECTIONS
    1. Hard boil eggs beforehand and slice into halves.
    2. Carefully remove the yolks and put into a separate bowl. Then, spoon out the avocado into the same bowl.
    3. Add the remaining ingredients and mash all together with a spoon.
    4. Once thoroughly mixed, scoop the mixture and dab into the egg halves.
    5. Sprinkle with paprika for embellishment!


    6. Hawaiian Pork Kebobs

    So maybe you can't bring Dad to Hawai'i, but this is the next best thing: Pork-and-Pineapple Skewers!

    INGREDIENTS
    -½ lb. pork tenderloin
    - 8 cubes fresh pineapple
    - 8 thick slices red bell pepper
    - 1½ tbsp. brown sugar
    - 1½ tbsp. soy or teriyaki sauce
    - 1 tbsp. orange juice
    - 2 tsp. lemon juice
    - 1/8 tsp. Kosher Salt

    DIRECTIONS
    1. Trim fat from pork and cut into 8 cubes.
    2. Combine brown sugar, soy sauce, orange juice, lemon juice, and salt into a ziplock bag. Add the pork cubes. Seal and marinatein refrigerator for 1 hour.
    3. Thread 4 cubes of each pineapple, pork, and red bell pepper alternately onto 2 10-inch skewers
    4. Coat BBQ grill with cooking spray. Place skewers on grill, rotating them frequently. Drizzle marinade when needed. Cook 14 minutes or until taste.

    -½ green cabbage, thinly sliced

    - 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut milk

    - 1 tsp. horseradish cream

    1. In a small bowl, whisk mayo, coconut milk, horseradish, sugar, ginger, and vinegar until creamy.

    - 4 large artichokes
    -½ cup mayonnaise
    - 1 lemon
    - 1 tbsp. honey
    - 1¼ tsp. ground pepper
    - 1 tsp. salt

    DIRECTIONS
    1. Use a serrated knife to cut the tips and pointy leaves of each artichoke. Slice in half. Remove the fuzzy choke in the center. Rub artichokes with lemon.
    2. Bring a large pot of water to boil. Boilartichoke(s) with lid on for about 30 minutes or until tender.
    3. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, honey, pepper and salt. This will be the dipping sauce.

    4. Once the artichokes are boiled, drain and let them cool. Once cooled down, spray the cut part of each artichoke with cooking spray (or a thin coat of butter).
    5. Grill the artichokes, cut side down, until warm and slightly charred, about 4 to 5 minutes.
